Tracker FAQ
Tracker reports AI assistants as their own traffic source instead of mixing them into referrals, and it records AI crawler visits, which other analytics tools never see. It is also a single lightweight script with first-party cookies and an optional consent mode.
ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, DeepSeek, Grok, Meta AI, Mistral, You.com, Poe, Phind and more. New assistants are added as they appear.
Crawlers from OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Meta, DuckDuckGo, Mistral, ByteDance and Common Crawl, covering both training and live-answer visits. The list is kept up to date as new crawlers appear.
Only for AI crawler visits. Pageviews, visitors, referrers, AI referrals and custom events all come from the script tag. Crawlers do not run scripts, so they are recorded by a short connection on your hosting or server; the setup page walks you through it.
No. The script is tiny and loads in the background, so it does not hold up your pages.
Yes. Client-side route changes are counted as pageviews automatically.
It uses first-party cookies only and does not store IP addresses. For sites that need consent before any cookie is set, consent mode sends nothing until the visitor agrees. Whether you need a banner depends on your setup; we do not give legal advice.
There is a free plan for one site that stays free within its limits, with every core AI report included. Paid plans add more sites, larger human-event and AI-crawler allowances and longer history, billed monthly; extra sites can be added to any paid plan. Current prices are listed under Pricing.
Intelligence measures how AI assistants answer questions about your brand. Tracker measures what happens on your own site: the visitors those answers send and the crawlers that read your pages. They are separate products.
